The Queensland Premier has today announced that the Greater Brisbane 3-day lockdown ends today, 12pm Thursday 1 April. Ongoing restrictions for all Queenslanders will be in place until Thursday 15 April, and have been outlined below. Thank you to all team members who have adjusted their work practices to support this important measure.

As we move into this holiday period, all team members should consider that restrictions can change rapidly – please do not return to the office after travel until you have checked in with your leader and confirmed the current restrictions in place.

What it means for our team:

Brisbane team advice

After the Easter break all team members in Brisbane can safely return to flexible working, Work@Home or Work@Office provided the restrictions are met below. Additional guidance and advice is also outlined below:

Brisbane team members planning to come into the office must:

  • have a mask with you at all times,
  • wear a mask in ALL situations where you cannot socially distance in the office – that is be more than 1.5 metres away from other people – including conversations at desks, in lifts, toilets, kitchens, passage/ hall ways, meeting rooms or any relevant location onsite; and
  • Book a desk – all desks that are available to book support this distancing. This is so important as it will facilitate contact tracing if needed, and is key to keeping everyone safe.

Brisbane team members planning to have meetings with external parties before Thursday 15 April should:

  • move to a Teams or phone meeting where possible
  • if you must have a face-to-face meeting ensure:

    • all parties wear a mask
    • the meeting is held in a well ventilated space – for example, outside dining at cafes, large meeting rooms
  • ensure you are following the external meeting guide

From Tuesday 6 April:

  • Brisbane Member and Employee Reception will re-open. Masks are available for anyone who doesn’t have one.
  • Car parking will also return to normal paid arrangements.
  • Service Desk – IT Support is available on 1800 804 646. Please do not attend the Service Desk unless you have made a booking by first calling the Service Desk number.
